ELMHURST, Ill. — The Chamberlain Group, a manufacturer of access control products, has announced two promotions. Dick Gregory has been promoted to VP Chamberlain retail sales, and Anthony Abate has been appointed marketing channel manager for retail national accounts.
“The promotions of Dick Gregory and Anthony Abate will have a positive impact on the collaborative marketing and sales efforts of both the Chamberlain retail and Heath Zenith organizations, bringing even more expertise to our valued retail customer relationships,” states Bob Markwart, EVP sales and marketing, The Chamberlain Group.
Starting his career as the eastern regional sales manager, Gregory has been recently promoted from director of retail sales to VP. In his new role as VP retail sales, Gregory will lead the sales team in exploring and further supporting key Chamberlain retail partnerships and new market opportunities with the goal of continuing to drive gains in the retail channel.
Beginning his career with the Chamberlain retail team more than 15 years ago, first as manager of the Canadian retail division and most recently as the national account manager for Home Depot. In his new position as marketing channel manager of national accounts, Abate will focus on increased sales penetration, channel development and trade marketing effectiveness while analyzing market expansion opportunities.
