NEW YORK— Marketing technology company SpyderLynk and Momentum Worldwide announced Friday that Office Depot has launched a national back-to-school mobile campaign that was developed by Momentum, using SpyderLynk’s 2D mobile barcode SnapTag technology.
The campaign offers back-to-school shoppers the opportunity to save through in-store mobile gift card giveaways and other discounts.
Momentum developed the integrated marketing campaign for Office Depot to connect with shoppers during the back-to-school season and partnered with SpyderLynk to deploy the SnapTag technology.
The campaign runs from July 24 to Sept. 11. To participate, Office Depot customers snap and send a picture of the SnapTag, featured on in-store displays, with a standard mobile camera phone to find out if they’ve won a $100 Office Depot mobile gift card, which is redeemable instantly in-store. Winners will then take their mobile phones to the check out to redeem their prize. For a limited time, participants will also receive special mobile coupons to save on a variety of back-to-school essentials.
