Sam’s Club is the latest retailer to offer popular Apple products including the iPad and iPhone. The retailer’s EVP merchandising, Linda Heffner, announced the addition of those products to the merchandise offering during a presentation to financial analysts Wednesday morning.
Heffner said a key element of Sam’s merchandising strategy was to increase the emphasis on top tier brands and she offer the iPad and iPhone as examples of that strategy.
The iPad was available earlier this year at Best Buy and Target also recently began offering the hot product Apple launched earlier this year. Is has been reported that Walmart also be offering the iPad in stores by November. Walmart already offers the iPhone.
