WALTHAM, Mass. — Profitect, a provider of retail software, has appointed Mike Mitchell as its new director of global professional services.
Mitchell will lead the company’s project management and business consulting efforts. Prior to joining Profitect, Mitchell served as VP of customer service for Agilence, Inc., overseeing all product implementation, support and professional auditing services.

Mitchell was the first full-time employee at Retail Expert, Inc., starting as a project analyst and moving up to director of customer service. Following Retail Expert’s acquisition by Tyco International, Mitchell was appointed head of professional services for Tyco’s Store Performance Solutions group. He has more than 14 years of experience designing and delivering retail software solutions.
