Best Buy, Costco, Petco and four other retailers were among a group of 145 companies identified as the World’s Most Ethical companies by Ethisphere.
The publication also bestowed the WME distinction on Target, OfficeMax, Marks and Spencer and Ten Thousand Villages. The program was created six year ago to recognize companies that truly go beyond making statements about doing business ethically and translate those words into action. According to Ethisphere, WME honorees not only promote ethical business standards and practices internally, they exceed legal compliance minimums and shape future industry standards by introducing best practices today.
