Kroger has announced the retirement of Quintin Frey, president of Turkey Hill Dairy. Frey began his career with Kroger at Turkey Hill Dairy in 1980 as a management trainee.
Kroger plans on putting food waste to good use with a clean energy production system that converts food that cannot be sold or donated into clean energy, which will help power its Ralphs/Food 4 Less distribution center in Compton, Calif.

Kroger has named Keith Dailey director external corporate communications. According to the company, Dailey will be oversee national media communications for Kroger, which operates 2,458 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states under two dozen local banner names.
