Amazon has confirmed that SVP and CFO Thomas J. Szkutak plans to retire from the company in June 2015. Succeeding him will be Brian T. Olsavsky, VP of finance for the company’s global consumer business, reporting to founder and CEO Jeffrey P. Bezos.
Kirkland's SVP and CFO W. Michael Madden has been promoted to president and chief operating officer, effective immediately. Madden will remain the company’s principal financial officer pursuant to S.E.C requirements.
Campbell Soup Company has named SVP of finance Anthony P. DiSilvestro as SVP and CFO, effective May 1. He succeeds B. Craig Owens, CFO and chief administrative officer since 2008, who plans to retire on that date.
Ralph Lauren has named Christopher Peterson as SVP and CFO. Peterson will assume his new role effective Sept. 24, and his areas of responsibility will include the company’s global finance and information technology organizations. He will report to Roger Farah, president and COO.
A former Disney executive has been tasked with overseeing the financial performance of Pacific Sunwear of California, a retailer which recently reported a 7% decline in same-store sales and a net loss of $35 million for its 2010 fourth quarter.
