Bon-Ton launches exclusive John Bartlett private lable line

YORK, Pa. The Bon-Ton Stores announced the signing of a license and design agreement with Tharanco Lifestyles LLC and acclaimed fashion designer John Bartlett for an exclusive private label collection of men’s apparel and accessories. Under the agreement, the collection will be designed by John Bartlett while Bon-Ton manages sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and marketing of the line.

“We are very excited about our partnership with John Bartlett,” commented Bud Bergren, president and CEO of Bon-Ton. “The line for Bon-Ton will echo the John Bartlett brand, which is synonymous with classic, well-tailored American sportswear. John’s collection will make an exciting addition to our extensive portfolio of exclusive private and national brand offerings our customers continue to appreciate.”

The line designed by John Bartlett will be available for fall 2011 and will include an extensive collection of separates cohesively designed to create the building blocks of a male wardrobe, the company reported. The collection will be launched with a media and marketing program and personal appearances by John Bartlett.
