JACKSON, Miss. — Cal-Maine Foods announced that the company has named Todd Walters VP operations, effective July 11. Walters will have responsibility for all of Cal-Maine Foods’ production and processing facilities located in Texas.
Walters has been employed with Cal-Maine Foods since 1997. He most recently served as the general manager for Cal-Maine Foods’ facilities in Rossburg and Union City, Ohio. Previously Walters served as the general manager of the company’s Albuquerque, New Mexico, operation and has been in management positions at the Company’s Chase, Kansas, and Edwards, Mississippi, operations.
Cal-Maine Foods is primarily engaged in the production, grading, packing and sale of fresh shell eggs, including conventional, cage-free, organic and nutritionally-enhanced eggs. The company, which is headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, currently is the largest producer and distributor of fresh shell eggs in the United States and sells the majority of its shell eggs in approximately 29 states across the Southwestern, Southeastern, Mid-western and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
